Warpcomm™
Warpcomm™ is a joint venture of four embedded specialists:
- Avnet - Initiator and coordinator of the project
- Ka-Ro - Hardware manufacturer and designer of highly integrated low-power embedded hardware solutions
- kernel concepts - embedded Linux experts, BSP and system
- Marvell Semiconductor - Designer and manufacturer of the Kirkwood ARM CPUs/SOCs
Together they developed the Warpcomm™ TK71 system, a Linux based
high performance system, ideally suited for network- and storage-appliances.
kernel concepts is responsible for porting the Linux system, the BSP and the Linux runtime system:
- JTAG ISP configuration for OpenOCD
- U-Boot bootloader adaptation
- Linux Kernel adaptation, based on Linux kernel 2.6.32
- µCross based base runtime system including matching cross-toolchain
