The Nokia N810 is the latest new gadget I use. Apart from my offical work for kc I work on porting GPE applications to the maemo software platform used on the Nokia 770, N800 and N810. I also play around with Gimp to create some wallpapers for the devices home screen.

GPE (G Palmtop Environment) is a project
for creating a usful environment for PDAs and similar devices with limited
resources running Linux.
I'm maintainer of gpe-conf, gpe-aerial, gpe-package, gpe-mininet, gpe-shield
and i fear of gpe-beam as well.
The main problem is the fact that i can't keep my fingers away from all the
other bits of GPE.
Go to my local GPE page.
I use thee nice machines for my daily work, Linux support is not perfect but
it works and is well maintained by a hero called Andrey Panin.
I wrote a tutorial about how to install Linux on them which resulted in the
realization that it needs to be improved.
The tutorial is located here.
Some more information, patches and config files may be found here (german).
